The Power Woman Project was founded in October 2016 by Keri Stroebel, Mrs South Africa Semi Finalist, Chairwomen of SA Council for Businesswomen Cape Town and Ambassador for the South African Depression and Anxiety Group. The Power Woman Project was originally known as Princess Boot Camp SA.
What started as teen empowerment has grown into a full blown woman empowerment movement, including events for women, and teen girls! We are passionate about promoting the queens of this world!
We focus on building confidence and self esteem, educating about bullying and mental health and being safe and responsible on social media. We then talk about career options and interview skills, making good impressions and presenting yourself well from a health and beauty perspective. We find that many teen girls are struggling to find their place in the world and we place a lot of focus on loving yourself just as you are, no matter what you look like.
We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, essence Cosmetics South Africa and AHA Hotel Group for supporting our initiative!
In each goody bag at our teen workshops, we are able to provide our girls with these gorgeous make up kits!
